A carpet of blue

I'm glad I chose to have a walk this morning ..... the weather was much better first thing ... now it's dull, damp and rather blustery.

Sometimes you come upon the unexpected when you take a different path in the park. I don't remember ever seeing such a wonderful display of bluebells .... best viewed from a distance to see the blue carpet.
