Through the trees

We took the 'pretty' way across to the Northumberland Coast and stopped in Rothbury and then at Cragside (National Trust). We would have had a bit of a wander, but it was raining on and off, so we just went to the lovely café  there and then viewed the amazing house from the car park.

In Craster, and settled into the house we know so well, we are now watching the waves - this is the house with the sea at the bottom of the garden. It's good to be back.

I recommend a programme on Radio 3 on Saturday at 12.30pm. (lunchtime) - Saxophonist and local girl Jess Gillam has a half hour slot during which she is in conversation with another young musician. They share their musical favourites and discoveries. Listening to two young people talking so enthusiastically and in such a relaxed way about the music they play and listen to is a delight.
