Nesting Rockhopper Penguins

The closer couple still have an egg in the nest.  The penguin further away was feeding the chick (the other one of the pair just waddled off).

There's one egg still to hatch, and three growing chicks in the nests just now.  A successful breeding year.

The Rockhoppers are the first to hatch each year apparently.
