This chap, who used to look for two dollar contributions and bill himself as an unemployed engineer, has "lived" in downtown Waterloo for years, ironically perhaps a few blocks from one of the world's leading research institutes in theoretical physics.  

The Perimeter Institute (extra) believes that breakthroughs are realized through a collision of intellect, imagination and inspiration.
