Appropriately for Easter, the Christ statue 'Santuário de Cristo Rei' in the distance across the River Tagus.


Also had some of the best custard tarts in the world at Pastéis de Belém. (It's been there since 1837 so they have had a bit of practice.)
This time we escaped the manic tourist bedlam of the original cafe and got them to takeaway and eat in a quiet coffee shop while they were still warm.
