Big Jumper

Such a morning of frustrations!
Nothing happened to plan and to top it all it rained, so no chance to hang out the washer load of clothes or cut the grass!

In the afternoon a spell looking at Sheena Graham George's exhibition of watercolours put the world to rights. I love the quirky details she captures in her work. One is drawn into the narrative of each one by turn.

The 'Big Jumper' appealed to me. Happy thoughts of winter evenings knitting 'something warm' to fend off the Orkney winter. Even the dog has a warm cover round his shoulders.

And on to dancing. Frustrations of the day forgotten, my brain and feet seem at last to be remembering: 1,2,3, lockstep, lockstep, lockstep...
