The bright before the storm

Storm Hannah is upon us (irony for those in the know)

I came home from work on Thursday to two fire engines on the street. I had missed the talk of the village by about 15 mins. The talk being a lightning strike at a bungalow a 100metres down the road. Blew the poor chap’s sockets off the wall, cracked windows and ripped 6 fence posts out of a garden. Thankfully the rest of us just lost power and in my case (and several others I believe) lost our internet router! And that was all before storm Hannah arrived today!

So just before it started persisting it down for the umpteenth time today I shot out and took this shot of a bit of colour - the only colour in the day.
