the joy of meringues
Tom and Jim sampling their first meringues. And they loved them. I'd got 4 egg whites in the fridge from a couple of days ago when I made something that only needed yolks. I made them this morning - they were in the oven for just under 3 hours on a low temperature. They were lovely and crispy and melted in the mouth. Served with extra thick cream. Next time I have to make twice as many (they said).
