Invasion

When I noticed that the lower leaves on my broadleaf tree had been damaged further to the chewed bits I thought it might be the work of some sort of chafing beetle, but a closer look showed it was lichen! Very strange to see lichen growing on green leaves. I think it might be Parmelina, but I’m not certain.
