Shortest day

The landscape opportunities afforded to city-dwelling blippers on 21st December are scant to say the least..

..especially to those who have spent the day trying to mend broken databases and resurrect old PCs (bleuch)

A little point of interest - the large church-like building on the right was a disused church for as long as I remember, there used to be a good playgroup in the basement. It was then bought by Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) to be made into an Islamic Centre. Building proceeded at great pace and then stopped. I guess the project ran out of money and I also guess that's why Yusuf did a comeback a year or two ago. Still no action on the build though..
