Seals on the Rocks at Kiel

10C dull with thin cloud and one or two light showrs in the afternoon. Moderate SSE/SE breeze.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There ere some seals on the rocks at Kiel. Gannets were flying along Carskey Bay, only a few were diving.

We walked along to the far end of the beach and back. Fergus was on his new long orange lead (with matching collar) which we got in the nice little pet shop in the square in Rothesay.

Later Apothecary 7 was painting, accompanied by BBC radio 2.
