Weather remains cold, windy & miserable with snow forecast and therefore no sign that these bees were busy.

These commercial beehives appeared in the forest a year ago & initially were regarded as being "illegal". This bit of forest belongs to the parish & MrB is responsible for the hunt there. As he also has his own large bee house elsewhere, he tends to know about such things.

Seemingly the situation has now been sorted & there is a sign on the hives with the name & telephone number of the owner who lives quite a distance from our parish. Hopefully, now money flowing into our parish coffers!
