One Amongst Many

Although I found the reflections in the woodland pond interesting enough to take a photo, it was a bit of a last minute effort and I didn't think it would amount to much. But, it's surprising what you find looking at a day's gathering later on.

What appeals to me is the lone vertical trunk, lighter and warmer in the middle left of the image, against all the darker mainly slanted trunks and reflections.

The overall darker muted tone to the image I achieved with split toning, which gives a slightly spooky feel, reflecting an overcast breezy evening loaded with foreboding since the forecast was for more wintry weather to come.
