Undefended

This scene is at Happisburgh (pron Hazebrer), a place of severe coastal erosion, roads terminating in mid-air with precipitous drops to the beach below. I took a walk along the beach to find some chunks of old walls worn smooth by successive tides over the decades. The sadly ineffective sea defences are in the background. 

The authorities have given up on the place, property values are depressed and every time we have a severe storm pieces of cliff fall into the sea and houses are under increasing threat culminating in one gradually falling into the sea.
