Peregrine tiercel

After being on quite a few trips lately I have been neglecting the peregrines. It was good to see both parents are taking turns to guard the nest and the falcon is well and truly in charge of feeding times. The chicks are again at the back of a high ledge and cannot be seen so we will have to wait until they are bigger before we know how many there are. Feeding started about 4 days ago so about another 36 days before they fledge.
The main photo shows the male coming off the nesting ledge, whilst the last extra shows him perched on the side of the newer mill. The sign is ESCCo, English Sewing Cotton Company established here in 1912.
