Lemon

A real surfeit of housework. Cooking too, which isn't quite so bad. Lemons can be used for both but I used them for neither.

At least the guests will know they are expected when they arrive tomorrow evening.

Then some respite watching the BBC's excellent Looking for Rembrandt. Very highly recommended. UK-based people with TV licences have nine more days to catch episode 1.
