Lupins in the Forest

Team meeting today in Ponte de Sor, in the "High" Alentejo, up north. Enjoyed seeing different scenery, especially the cork oak forests. Mike stopped on the way back so I could wander into one of them to take photos, loved these lupins under the trees, forest in extra. So much greener up there, they've had a lot more rain than we've had.

You often get served lupin beans (called tremoços) with a beer here, apparently a healthy snack.

Gratefuls;
- swathes of purple lavender across the hillsides
- fields of yellow, liberally sprinkled with red poppies
- surprised by the true, deep blue of pimpernels in the woods, and pink rock roses
