Cannon Beach  - a lovely 4 days and thanks for all your looks and appreciation - it is a special stretch of coastline.


(extra - home to what is left - a friend was watching, the adults were gone on Saturday, and two or three had hatched by look of things - then another one of these must have hatched - as we came home to two eggs, no geese and we assume all is over - next year this planter will have plants in it!  but it was fun to watch and we wished we had not missed the "birth" - perhaps they waited until it was totally their own space? - who knows?  as far as I know I have not lived the life of a goose or if so it is far in the deep recesses of my mind.)
