Nearly ready to hatch

Home again after trip to PSNZ convention in Hutt.  Lovely day and while we were away some of the 18 monarch chrysalis have hatched.  Not sure if that is right term as they aren't eggs, but maybe transformed.   Using google I did learn that once the chrysalis turns dark the butterfly will appear within 48 hours.   In extras one of the four new monarchs released today.
