Ants

Weather cloudy and chilly this morning sunny from mid afternoon.  Went to Southend and met a friend for lunch and chat!  The washing dried so I did the ironing when I got home and then at teatime went for a walk over the brickfields.  It was lovely there as usual but so sad to only see a pair of ducks and no coots or moorhens.  I don't know if this is because there are more fishermen and a lot of the water lillies seem to have disappeared or the house building that's going on closeby.  Took quite a lot of photos and found it difficult choosing!
