40 Shades of Green

Walking with ArchieMacDoodle this morning before running toddlers group and the community cafe, delivering food parcels and feeding my own clan - a few minutes of much needed relative calm...
Everything is bursting into bud, the crops are growing higher every day; it's just lovely.. I particularly like this spot on the path we sometimes take. There's a sense of calm, a sense of smallness here - perhaps because the valley opens all around in 360° and is framed on the horizon by the hills in the distance. I like that the path leads forward between the trees with the light barked trees seeming to draw you forward to the next clearing and the next copse beyond...
