Amphion floridensis

The Nessus sphinx moth. We had a day today of not seeing overly many birds - some nice ones, to be sure, but not all that many and certainly I didn't get any truly great photos.

So - I am posting a moth! This moth, in the interest of full disclosure, was found on the floor of a National Park restroom and then moved outside onto a nicer place for a photo. Cheating! But in the interest of art.
