Swingn On A Star

Here is my exhausted Eric singing, "Swingin' on a Star." He'd stretched himself pretty thin with too much to get done before our trip to New Orleans tomorrow.
There is a tradition of jazz big bands performing on Monday nights; the Jack London Revue here in Portland has invited many local bands to play, and tonight it was the band Eric has lead for many years. He wondered if they would draw a big enough crowd to be asked back again; especially if dancers would show up. But, the crowd was big and the enthusiastic dancers were there. He leads the band from the trombone section and peppers his prattle between tunes with droll humor; tonight he surprised us all by singing a tune, too.
