A wee bit of calm

Our dad would have been 84 today, had we not lost him to motor neurone disease in 2009.

My brother busboy and I had a few WhatsApp messages about it today and sent love and support to each other.

Busboy said he was going to spend time at the allotment tonight with purpleperson, which would have given dad lots of happiness on both fronts - the love and friendship they give each other and the pleasure of the allotment.

My shot is of our buddha and a wee corner of our patio, which dad worked on when he was in Barcelona. He was a calm voice and influence in our lives and he lives on in our hearts and souls more than he could ever know..
