New beginnings...

John and Effie were friends that lived around the corner... John died some years ago and soon after Effie decided to move away to somewhere more manageable for her. Effie gave us some planters containing well established ferns as there was no room for them where she was going. Sadly Effie is gone too, she died soon after leaving Linton. We treasure these ferns, they come back each year and remind us of a lovely friendship that didn't last nearly long enough.
