Red-headed Cardinal Beetle

I took myself off to a local nature reserve this morning while the weather was acceptable and spent a couple of hours bug hunting.

I was just heading on my way out when the first teeny tiny drops of rain started so I hopped on a bus to Tewkesbury, stocked up in Tesco and then home again.

About half an hour ago Ledley went off upstairs and I found him sitting on his posing table - I duly obliged with a meaty stick and a few snaps but have yet to look at them.
