May Day sunset

I was thinking it has been quite a while since I last saw a sunset, but actually it isn't that long at all, less than two weeks!  But anyway, why not begin a new month with a sunset, a May Day celebration? I had a post-dinner trip out to Sandside to get a view over the Kent estuary towards the Lake District. There were goosanders and shelducks on the water, though a bit too distant to be discernible in this.

Otherwise, it has been an unremarkable day for me. A day in the office, feeling very tired, in need of a bit of a break (not long now).

Gus has had a good day, relaxing at home with his Mum, with enough energy to manage a second walk up the Knott this afternoon.
