Daily Oral Chemo

Many people think that all chemotherapy is accomplished through a series of infusions given intravenously.  Since I am no longer doing that and I continue to participate in most of the activities I have always done at church and elsewhere, they think that I am no longer on chemo.  That is not true.  I am now on daily oral chemo for the foreseeable future.  God has blessed me---I haven't suffered side effects as severe as many and my husband's military service has provided me with access to the drugs which keep me alive.  I just have to remember to order them and take them on the right schedule---and yes, I still lose a little more hair than the average person, but I can do that!
