Solace Day 4 - Stopping For Lunch

When we got up this morning we realised we had no mains power. We couldn't tell if the bank of leisure batteries were charging from the alternator or not. One of our syndicate member lives locally and is extremely good at dealing with this sort of issue and quickly offered to come and meet us when we moored tonight.

With us having been delayed, and worrying about the electrics, we looked apprehensively at the map. We were highly unlikely now to get through Birmingham during the day. The decision was made to abandon our trip to Stratford-on-Avon and turn around. Plenty of other nice places to see! Like the one blipped.

We moored beside a road bridge and our saviour with a screwdriver came to meet us. He couldn't fix the problem there and then but he found out which part to buy and arranged to meet us again tomorrow! Somewhere!
