Polly Joke

We drove a bit farther west along the coast, skirting around the tackiness of Newquay, and walked around the headland of West Pentire to Polly Joke Beach .

National Trust territory, it was empty and unspoiled. There were bluebells and sea thrift, gulls and skylarks and no facilities whatsoever. Just the way we like it.

After that we walked on to Holywell beach and village with a pub and a few more trappings of civilisation, but still very beautiful. LooseCanon is blipping it I think.
