just starting to bloom

Despite the cold and dreary days we've had recently, the flowering trees and bushes are doing their thing. Our peach and crab apple trees are producing their pink and white blossoms, respectively. The forsythia is bursting forth in yellow, and today I saw the first lilac starting to open.
