I am such an idiot. There is so much garden around the house it'd be a tough enough gig WITH the right tools. When you get it in your head that cordless electric is the way to go, you've already lost. It grows faster than the batteries can recharge, ergo: next time you're in Jardiland, you need to get a machete just to find the car on the drive. 
If I wanted a full time job ......
