Next weekend, weather permitting, I’m flying to the Isle of Man on the first club fly out of the year and since we’ll be more than 10 miles from land in a single engined aeroplane, everyone on board has to wear a life jacket.
Tip one : it has to be manually inflated
Tip two : don’t buy it from an aeroplane supplies company: they charge twice as much.
So here I’m modelling my manually inflated 190newton life jacket with whistle and light, that can be repacked after use (once you’ve recharged the gas cylinder)
