May flowers and....

....a new friend! Out with S in the morning for our usual conversation class. We went to see whether the tree in the main picture had flowered. It had. We don’t know what kind of tree it is. Maybe somebody can help us. Its leaves remind us of a maple, its trunk, of a lime tree. Its flowers, of a magnolia.

In the afternoon, I met R and I was introduced to M, a lovely girl from Slovacchia who’s recently moved to our town. We had a lovely afternoon together and we’ve already planned some more outings!

The extras are acacia flowers and a gorgeous poppy, both of which were on our walk this morning.
