Lily Pond

This was originally a photo taken at the DeYoung Museum, right after seeing the Monet exhibit, one of those moments when nature imitates art. The challenge this month in my photo app group is to use Waterlogue, an app that turns photos into paintings; it only does this one thing, but it does it well. I wasn't content to leave well enough alone, so I combined a couple different renderings in ArtStudioPro, then layered in part of the original photo. I'm not sure I'm happy with this version, but I'm very interested in this whole transformation process.
