3rd Year In A Row

This may be a Weihnacht tradition for me, I really like the "tree" in the Kurhaus.  For those who haven't seen this before, it's actually made up of about 2000 poinsettias and it stands in the central hallway of the Kurhaus.  The Kurhaus is where the casino is (I've still got 30 euro in chips for the casino, gambling is just not my thing).

We had to go shopping today for all those Weihnacht things that we don't have.  It wasn't bad as shopping expeditions go but it wasn't great either.  There was definitely an air of "buy it all" judging by the contents of some people's trollies - Germany is a bit different than Britain in that most of the shops will shut around lunchtime on Monday and then re-open on Thursday.

And now for some Saturday evening chilling.
