East Sussex Green-wing orchids

I had a lovely trip out today with a new friend to see the amazing Green-winged orchids at a now famous churchyard in East Sussex. They seem to be even more spectacular this year than they have been in previous years, with more spikes with longer stems. I have chosen this shot to blip as the spike in the foreground was one of several with very pale sepals at the side showing the green veins which give the orchid it's common name very well, I also liked the darker spikes in the background. I have added a shot in my extras of the beautiful soft pale pink version, which is always a joy to see.
