Goslings

On Friday, in the midst of many other tasks and errands, my husband and I stopped for a short hike along Spring Creek. As we began our hike, I spotted several Canada geese on the water. When we came back, they were still there.

I looked to see if there were any little ones with them, and suddenly, I did spot five small, yellow, fuzzy babies. The two vigilant parents kept the goslings between them as they floated across the water. I snapped this shot just before they disappeared out of sight.
