Two Bees

The horse chestnut tree was awash with flowers and positively buzzing with bee excitement as they flew into the tiny cups to get the pollen.

On the right is the honey bee, abundant and familiar in the gardens. The second smaller, tiny bee is a cuckoo bee which lives in the nests of mining bees of which we have many in the garden here. A rather accidental capture but I'm running with it!

Thank you to everyone who has been so very kind to leave comments and score my owl in the bluebell shot. So pleased you like it and I'm very appreciative !
