Maid's Causeway.

Some of the trees in this part of Newmarket Road, Cambridge, opposite Midsummer common, have been drastically cut back. No doubt they needed it. These houses belong to Jesus college and some students have rooms there. It is said that young ladies would once take a stroll along here.
