Henry's birthday eve.

We have spent this evening decorating Henry's birthday cake. It's his favourite tv character, Blaze. However, having asked for a "Blaze racing car birthday cake" for weeks, tonight after cleaning his teeth he changed his mind and asked for a snake cake! Oops, too late! So I quickly rolled some icing into two long snakes as well. Fingers crossed this is enough.
After the school run this morning I had to attend a meeting at school regarding the Key stage 1 SATS tests. They're happening over the next few weeks and it was more for the parents' reassurance than anything else.
Then onto the vets to collect Hobbes' prescription - we've learned that you can get the vets to issue a prescription then order the drugs online (saving £22 a month) - worth a try. And then onto a play date for Henry and a catch up up with Henry's friend's Mum for me. Always an enjoyable time. Now to blow up some balloons.
