Seal on the Rocks at Kiel

9C and bright with cloud cover, sunny spells in the afternoon. Light to moderate SSE/SW/NW/NNW breeze.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There were some seals on the rocks at Kiel. A few Gannets were flying along Carskey Bay, occasionally diving. There were a few Ringed Plovers on the beach, and we saw a Shelduck on one of the little beaches along from Kiel and the way home.

We walked along to the far end of the beach and back.

Later Apothecary 7 was down in the garden pottering and weeding.
