Marathon runner

It was Southampton's marathon and half marathon today and Claire and I, accompanied by her mum this year, did our usual bit of encouragement to the runners. This elephant took my eye. S/he was somewhere towards the back of the pack among a lot of people who were walking up the hill - and who can blame them? But I have included a couple of other photos of the pack of runners. It's always very awe inspiring to see this event.
