Enjoying the garden

Well, this bee certainly appears to be enjoying the cat mint.  There were a few different species of bumblebee in evidence earlier on when I took the camera on a garden safari, but the only one of which I managed to get a decent shot was this buff tailed bumblebee.  If you look carefully you can see its enormous tongue going down into the flower in search of nectar.

Its been a day largely spent in catching up on chores after the weekend away.  I'm feeling slightly under the weather - I wonder if I may be coming down with the cold bug that one of my relatives had when we were away in Yorkshire.  :-(
