Chicken fundraiser

I got up early (around 10) to go to the Lions Club for its chicken fundraiser. A couple of times a year, the club holds a big three-day event selling chicken dinners. Jill looks forward to them every year.

We got chicken a couple of days ago, and I see the big deal. It's delicious. They have a couple of truckloads of chicken each day, and they cook about 40 birds at a time over long grills. They operated 24 hours a day until they run out of chicken. We went last night but they were out, which is why I got up early.
