Arran

The weather was still fine and we decided to go up the Corbett of Cnoc Coinnich above Lochgoilhead. It used to be the highest Graham but after resurvey was found to be above Corbett height so it now sees more traffic. It was very windy so we didn’t hang about on the top, but the views were still poor as the haze hadn’t cleared. Afterwards we went to Bute as we hadn’t been there before, using the short ferry on the north east of the island. We went down to see St Blane’s chapel at the south of Bute and this is where the blip was taken, looking over to Arran which was visible at long last. The extra is of an ‘interesting’ sign at Lochgoilhead. Who’d have thought trees were that frisky?

Yesterday’s blip.
