Yellow Reflection

The striking yellow of the leaves on this small tree struck me from across the water on an overcast and rather dull evening. Against a backdrop of tree trunks still not yet in leaf, the bright yellow really stood out. The bonus being a reflection in the murky olive green water.

I like the overall harmony in this image which relies on a contrast of intensity, pitting the intense yellows against more muted greens and grays.
