Next stop Manchester Piccadilly

This is Stockport. The couple in these seats have just the train here. We are delayed. Only another ten minutes until we reach my destination. Home for Christmas. Picked up by sister and bro-in-law. Explained train delayed due to inclement weather. Manchester living up to reputation on the rain front. Dropped off at mam's. She's looking well. Recovering nicely from her stroke in September. Some problems persist. She's frustrated. It's only been 4 months.
I'm home for Christmas with my family. With mam. On the mend.
