Grandson H woke to screams as the equalizer went in. He came downstairs and watched his Nanna pacing up and down, squeezing a stress ball for dear life. We screamed together as the fourth goal went in and for every kick of the ball until the final whistle, rested our shattered nerves of excitement. We’ll never forget their courage. H went back to bed after we calmed down and Mum and I opened a bottle of bubbly to toast Liverpool’s success.
