Open Studio Day 2.

A better day than Saturday.

Visited several studios including two "retired" sisters one of whom concentrates on Ceramics and one who Paints.

We bought a painting called ”Rabbit Island, East Lothian". Quite superb and the title clinched it. We also bought a ceramic flower holder to display in the "Clergy" and to hold Lavender.

Their studio backs onto a railway line and earlier in the day "The Union of South Africa" A4 steam locomotive pulling several LMS livery coaches had just passed by.

The locomotive is very similar to the "Mallard" which holds the World Record for the fastest speed record for a steam locomotive. 126 mph which is quite pedestrian these days.
